TicketForce to Serve Rochester, Minnesota Area with a
Multi-Venue Regional Ticketing Solution
Mesa, Arizona - June 18, 2007 - TicketForce
today announced that it was selected from 45 proposals to provide
ticketing services to Rochester, Minnesota area venues and organizations.
The system will be launched through www.ticketsrochester.com and will
allow area ticket buyers to purchase online from multiple venues.
'Certainly any venue that sells tickets can be in on this,' says Brad
Jones, executive director of the Rochester Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The Rochester Civic Theatre will be the first to launch with the new
system, with sales going online in August. Other organizations and venues
have been able to test-drive the system at sessions hosted by the
Convention and Visitors Bureau, with Brad Smith of TicketForce on hand to
show the system and answer questions. Each organization will have the
option of its own unique ticketing portal or utilizing a city portal
managed by TicketForce. All systems will be linked through the
www.ticketsrochester.com site.
Rochester, Minnesota joins other cities in similar efforts to offer a city
or community-based ticketing portal. TicketForce, as both a ticketing
