Here are three things to remember before you begin constructing your very own email blast:

  1. Segment your audience! Segmentation means grouping your entire audience into sectors based on demographic factors like age, gender, location, or personal interests. This is so you know what sectors of your audience will respond best to what type of content in an email blast.

  1. Create content based on your customers’ wants and needs. By personalizing the content you feature in your emails, you put the audience in charge and will really give them what they want.

  1. Track your progress and make changes accordingly. Don’t hesitate to change certain elements of your emails to better reach your target audience through A/B testing. Not sure what that means? A/B testing is having two variants of an element, in this case an element of your email blast, and then testing them simultaneously to see which element yields better results. Conducting experiments such as this will help you gain maximum results.
