Founded over 40 years ago, ArtsBoston still continues to live by their mission: “to enrich the lives of our citizenry by connecting people of every age and background with the arts and cultural organizations that call Greater Boston home.” Essentially, ArtsBoston is a collaborative partner for public, private, and nonprofit leaders in the Boston region, helping them better engage with the surrounding community.
ArtsBoston has 170+ active members of both visual and performing arts, as well as different programs within their organization. The ArtsBoston Audience Initiative (AAI) is a portion of ArtsBoston that helps those in its collaborative network better understand audiences through data collection. BosTix is ArtsBoston’s nonprofit ticket resource, providing the community with half-price deals that ensure accessibility to all. Finally, the Arts Factor is an initiative established by ArtsBoston that uses data to demonstrate the positive, cross-sector impact that arts and culture have on Greater Boston.
