Every week, TicketForce brings you news on one of four industries: racing, sports, theatre, or music. This week’s #SportsWrap serves to congratulate football player turned broadcaster Tim Tebow on his recent accomplishment. Tebow will be joining other fellow analysts in the broadcasting booth during the upcoming Chik-fil-a Peach Bowl taking place on December 31st.
Tim Tebow’s debut as a college football game analyst will consist of “commentary with play-by-play man Joe Tessitore, fellow analyst Brock Huard and field reporter Shannon Spake on ESPN's New Year's Eve broadcast, according to Stephanie Druley, ESPN Senior Vice President of Production, College Networks,” according to USA Today.
Tebow is known for his energy and enthusiasm, something that is essential for an analyst – along with knowledge of the game, which Tebow also has as a former NFL player for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets. Tebow is also a Heisman Trophy winner and University of Florida football alumni. ESPN and other broadcasters are excited to witness Tebow contribute his expertise and passion for the game in another way.
Be sure to catch the game and Tim Tebow’s commentary on New Year’s Eve when Texas Christian University and Ole Miss compete for the 2014 Peach Bowl title at the Georgia Dome on December 31st. Kickoff is at 12:00 p.m. MST.
