Every week, TicketForce brings you news on one of four industries: racing, sports, theatre, or music. This week’s #SportsWrap features two college football teams, both smelling roses. This Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ, the Arizona State University Sun Devils and the Stanford Cardinal, defending Rose Bowl champions, will battle it out in the Pac-12 Championship game. The winners of this game will be rewarded with a ticket to the Rose Bowl.

This game will be redemption for the Sun Devils, who haven’t been to the Rose Bowl since 1997, after their 42-28 loss to Stanford earlier this season. Coach Todd Graham has led ASU to a record of 10-2 this season, being undefeated at home for the first time since 2004. The home field advantage will truly add to ASU’s odds this weekend in addition to their stellar technique being showcased by quarterback Taylor Kelly and Pac-12 defensive player of the year Will Sutton, and incredible team first mentality.

Stanford, currently ranked 7th, is sure to put up a fight for the Sun Devils as they strive to secure their 4th BCS bowl game and 2nd Rose Bowl appearance in a row. This team is stealthy, giving up an average of only 19.0 points and 4.6 yards per play. “While the most thrilling part of this contest will be Arizona State's offense against Stanford's defense, the most important part will be Arizona State's defense against Stanford's offense,” reports Tim Keeney of Bleacher Report.

Spirits are high in Tempe and the student section promises to be in full force, with students camping out since Monday for tickets. All fate will be decided Saturday night and the next Rose Bowl contender will be on their way to Pasadena.
