Each week, TicketForce brings you up to speed on all of the happenings in music, sports, racing and theatre. This week’s #RacingWrap reveals to you the newest sponsor of the Sprint Cup Race: Duck Commander 500.

Duck Commander 500, owned by the Robertson family, who are also the stars of the popular A&E show “Duck Dynasty,” just signed a three-year contract to sponsor the race that will take place every April in Texas. The company was founded by Phil Robertson in 1972 and has been the epitome of success ever since. It was the company that introduced A&E to the family, making them some of the most recognizable reality television stars of our generation.

"We are all big fans of NASCAR and have been all our lives. It's especially exciting to see our brand join to make it an awesome experience for the fan base and we can't think of a better place than our neighbor at the Texas Motor Speedway,” says Willie Robertson, the CEO of Duck Commander 500. Both the Robertson family and the Sprint Cup officials are excited about this new business relationship. Eddie Gossage, the president of Texas Motor Speedway, is excited about the special branding for the race and the celebrity spokespeople that come with it.

The sponsorship contract will include merchandise, souvenirs, and even Uncle Si’s Tea which will be sold at concession stands at the raceway. The family members are also prospected to serve as grand marshals and make special appearances.
