Each week TicketForce brings you an update on all things music, racing, theatre, and sports. This week’s #TheatreWrap recognizes award winning John Lloyd Young in his upcoming performance as Frankie Valli in London’s Jersey Boys.

John Lloyd Young is no stranger to this production. He already has a Tony award under his belt from his debut performance as Frankie Valli on Broadway in 2006. Jersey Boys is a wildly successful musical production about “a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time.” The show has been recognized with a 2006 Tony Award, as well as a 2009 Oliver Award, both for Best Musical. Lloyd Young will grace the stage at Piccadilly Theatre in London starting March 15th until April 27th. Along side of him will be fellow cast members Matt Nalton, Edd Post, Jon Boydon, and Michael Watson, with whom he will share the role, just to name a few.

John Lloyd Young is more than qualified for the role. He has starred in multiple productions, both theatre and film, including Glee, Oy Vey! My Son is Gay!, The Summer of Swans, Sarah, Plain and Tall, and Clint Eastwood’s film version of Jersey Boys, set to be released in June of 2014.
