The Phoenix area experienced an eventful weekend that did not disappoint locals and the tourists who traveled far and wide to experience all things Super Bowl XLIX and Waste Management Phoenix Open.

One of the most coveted events this weekend (trust us, tickets sold out in under three minutes) had to have been Jimmy Fallon’s recording of the post-game Tonight Show at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix.

The Tonight Show host graced the stage alongside his award winning band The Roots and guests including Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, Ariana Grande and Super Bowl XLIX winners from the Patriots. Perhaps the most talked about segment from the show was the self-proclaimed Epic Lip-Sync Battle between Ferrell, Hart and Fallon himself. The three coordinated their own lip-sync versions of smash hits including Beyonce’s Drunk in Love, Kelly Clarkson’s Since U Been Gone and more, competing against each other for laughs and bragging rights.

Fallon’s unbeatable talent was exhibited in the way he mesmerized the crowd from the moment he walked on stage, to the moment he said his goodbyes, and the Orpheum Theatre was the perfect location for all of the excitement. The Orpheum is located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix and has a rich history, one that will continue to live on through monumental events such as this.

Did you catch the show? We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
