Each week, TicketForce bring you an update on one of four industries: racing, sports, music or theatre. This week's #racingwrap features Tony Stewart's return to NASCAR.
Back in August, Stewart broke his right leg in a sprint car accident causing him to miss the final 15 races of the season and undergo three separate surgeries. Since then, he has only been in a race car once – for a seat filling.
Stewart's doctors will clear him to race on February 14, which happens to be day before the exhibition Sprint Unlimited at Daytona International Speedway. The season-opening Daytona 500 will take place the following week on February 23.
Some have expressed doubts of whether Stewart will be ready to race again. On Thursday he stated, "Physically, I'm not going to feel 100 percent, but I'll be able to do my job 100 percent, so that's the main thing."
How do you think Stewart will do this season? Let us know by sending a tweet to @ticketforce.
