Facebook recently rolled out a new “call-to-action” feature in the form of a button located at the top of a fan page in the cover photo. According to Facebook, the call-to-action feature is in place to “help pages drive business objectives,” by linking to any destination the business sees that aligns with their goals.

Business pages have the ability to choose from the following labels for their call-to-action button:

  • Book Now

  • Contact Us

  • Use App

  • Play Game

  • Shop Now

  • Sign Up

  • Watch Video

This new feature is great news for ticketing organizations because it means you can now directly link to your website right from your Facebook page’s cover photo. The possibilities are endless with this new feature, giving you the opportunity to link your Facebook page to any videos you might have of your venue or performers who you have hosted, contact forms, and ticket purchasing sites, just to name a few.

The call-to-action button is now available to some business pages and will be available to all later this year. Stay tuned!
