Today we presented our latest social media webinar. We discussed how social media and grassroots marketing relate to each other and how to effectively utilize both to maximize ticket sales.
During our webinar, we discussed exactly what grassroots marketing is and how it can be used to cultivate new relationships with patrons. There are many important aspects to a successful campaign including a targeted demographic, a clear direction and goal, a unique idea that is out-of-the-box and finally, an organized execution plan.
Social media indirectly plays a big part in a grassroots marketing campaign. In order to effectively use social media to promote your campaign before, during and after it is over, first figure out which platform is best for your organization. Each social media platform is different and some audiences respond better to one or the other, dependent on various factors. It would be a waste of resources to promote your campaign on one platform when the majority of your audience engages more with another. Promote wisely!
