Every week, TicketForce brings you news on one of four industries: racing, sports, theatre, or music. This week’s #SportsWrap reports on NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s decision to ban Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling from all NBA operations, for life.

Donald Sterling was not only banned for life from the NBA, but was also fined $2.5 million, for racist comments made back in September. Sterling’s comments were found on a recently leaked recording of a conversation between himself and other individuals.

"We stand together in condemning Mr. Sterling's views," Silver said. "They simply have no place in the NBA." The Clippers organization, as well as the NBA community, have showered Commissioner Silver with nothing but support in his decision.

After only a few short months in this position, the commissioner is making hard decisions and gaining the respect of individuals everywhere. Adam Silver was appointed commissioner on February 1, 2014 with unanimous approval. Silver has held many positions within the NBA and is consistently recognized for his accomplishments.
