Every week, TicketForce brings you news on one of four industries: racing, sports, theatre, or music. This week's #MusicWrap brings you highlights of last weekend's American Music Awards. It was a star studded event with no shortage of entertainment and antics – ones that only Hollywood can bring.

Among the many performances, ones that stuck out to viewers and audience members included a "Waterfalls" reunion by TLC, as well as performances by One Direction, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and R. Kelly, Justin Timberlake, and of course Miley Cyrus. While no foam fingers were involved, Miley did enlist the help of a giant lip syncing cat. You might think viewers would be shocked and astounded  – but we all knew that Miley would have something interesting up her sleeve.

Next, Justin Timberlake, a crowd favorite, wowed the audience with his performance of "Drink You Away." Lady Gaga's duet with R. Kelly of their song "Do What U Want" raised some eyebrows as the performance mimicked a JFK and Marilyn Monroe situation, just days after the anniversary of his passing.

It was a big night in the winner's circle with all of America's favorite names taking home awards. Taylor Swift won Artist of the Year for the third time along with Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album. Justin Timberlake was awarded Favorite Male Pop Rock Artist, Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist, and Favorite Soul/R&B Album for "The 20/20 Experience." The first ever Icon Award was presented to Rihanna by her mother, bringing a sentimental aspect to the otherwise envelope pushing evening. To view the complete winners' list, click here.

It's no secret that there are many talented individuals in the music industry. They dazzle their fans across the world time and time again, always trying to one up each other and be the next big thing. Who do you think is the most worthy of chatter after the AMA performances?
