Every week, TicketForce brings you news on one of four industries: racing, sports, theatre, or music. This week’s #SportsWrap gets you up to speed with some changes happening in the NFL.
Ryan Mallett is replacing Ryan Fitzpatrick as the Houston Texans’ new quarterback and is set to play his first game with the team against the Browns on Sunday, November 16th. This transition will allow Mallett to show off his coveted throwing arm after spending three years on the Patriots serving as a back up to Tom Brady.
Ryan Mallett has been known for the power in his passes ever since high school where he was considered to be “legendary.” Just how legendary you might ask? At an Elite II camp Mallett threw 88 yards, and 86 yards during a magazine shoot, showing consistency that is based solely off of talent and not luck. In college he continued to progress; his throws could reach speeds up to an impressive 65 miles per hour.
The Houston Texans have the potential to put on a great show this weekend with the help of their new teammate. Will you be watching the game?
