Get ready for the return of the biggest polo event in the United States. The Third Annual Scottsdale Ferrari-Maserati Polo Championships: Horses and Horsepower will take place on November 1st and 2nd at WestWorld of Scottsdale and it’s expected to be bigger and better than ever.
Last year’s event brought a crowd of nearly 10,000 people, making it the largest crowd for a one-day polo event in history! Attendees enjoyed several VIP lounges and were able to see Nic Roldan, one of polo’s biggest names, live in action. Roldan captained The Bel Air Polo Club, while Tommy Biddle Jr. lead the The Hamptons. Roldan, also a model for WILHELMINA Agency, was expected to dazzle the crowd and did just that – with his talent and good looks.
In addition to fabulous lounges and stellar matchups between some of the best polo players around, Barrett-Jackson also debuted its 2012 Collector Car Auction at last year’s event. Scottsdale Ferrari and Lamborghini, Bondurant and Phoenix International Raceway also wowed the crowd with impressive cars and definitely contributed to the record-breaking attendance at the 2nd Annual Horses & Horsepower.
This year’s attendance is projected to be around 15,000 strong and the schedule has expanded to accommodate the increase. The expanded schedule includes an All-Star matchup on Friday along with a Sunset Fashion Show presented by Phoenix Fashion Week.
