Apple has really taken a big step, or shall we say leap, with its latest upgrades to the iPhone. Offering not only one, but two separate iPhone models, Apple fans are sure to love not only the new features, but the look as well.

The iPhone5S is a high-end continuation of the iPhone, starting at $199 for a 16GB model. The iPhone5C is a dare we say, “cheaper version”, which starts at $99 for a 16GB model. Both prices reflect a two-year contract with a mobile provider.

Two of the biggest upgrades to the iPhone5S are the improved camera and the new fingerprint sensor. The iPhone5S’ new dual flash makes photos taken in sub par lighting much more natural looking. In addition, a new slo-mo video mode has been added, making the iPhone5S the best mobile camera (and video camera) out there.

Next, the iPhone5S’ fingerprint sensor is built into to the Home button, and allows users to unlock their phone and even use their fingerprint to make purchases in the App and iTunes Store. Each phone can have a total of five authorized users, taking only 30 seconds or so to set up each user.

As for the iPhone5C, it comes with a polycarbonate wrap-around back in five different colors: green, blue, red, yellow and white. Apple also designed custom cases made of silicon with a microfiber lining for a rather reasonable $29.

Preorders for both iPhone models start this Friday, September 13. The devices will be available in stores on September 20.
