Everyday is a celebration when you work with amazing clients likes ours. Here at TicketForce, we are lucky to work with the best of the best. Today we want to take some time to showcase our client, Flickinger Center for Performing Arts, located in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
There are approximately 30,000 patrons that visit this 590 seat theater each year, proving that it is a great asset to the people of its community. Flickinger Center for the Performing Arts is a certified non-profit, operating solely on grants and support from the community.
The theater was founded in 1988 when a woman named Margaret Flickinger bought an old, 1950s-inspired movie theater and donated it to the non-profit. Its inaugural performance was in December of 1988 when the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra performed for the people of Alamogordo. The theater’s inaugural season, however, was not until 1992. Since then, the theater has been called home by many different types of entertainment, including concerts, plays, musicals, and pageants, just to name a few.
